Assistance grants for SChools

Things to bear in mind:

The charity welcomes applications from schools that serve pupils from the parishes of Broseley and Barrow for financial assistance with projects or the purchase of equipment. Any assistance provided must benefit pupils from the parishes. The charity's rules state that we may not provide funds to replace those that should  be provided by either local or national authorities so applications should be for 'extras' rather than basic school needs. Available funds are limited so although the charity always tries to help, the provision of a grant is subject to the decision of the trustees.

Although an application may be made by any member of the school staff, the completed form must be signed or counter-signed by the head/principal of the institution.

Note that the trustees usually meet twice a year, in March and September, so it is important to apply well before the funds are needed.
